Getting around

Radiobus

An innovative choice, a middle of the road solution between traditional public transport and a taxi, is Radiobus. This is a “small bus on call” which is only available if booked in advance. Passengers are picked up directly and transported safely to their chosen destination
The bus runs between 20.00 and 2.00 in the morning and is operative within all the Comune of Milan territorial area. The service guarantees security and comfort while minimizing waiting periods, distance on foot and travel time.
The service can be booked every day from 13.00 to 2.00 by telephoning 02 48034803.
Bookings can be made from three days before the transfer is due to take place up until the time of travel.

If you prefer to go by bike, Bike Sharing is a simple bike rental service to be used for short trips.

Change

In Milan, as well as in many other countries of European Community, the accepted currency is Euro (EUR, €), no other currencies are commonly accepted, so you will have to change your dollars, sterling, yens, etc to Euros. Credit cards are widely accepted too. Passport may be required.
Banks are open from Monday to Friday, approx. 8.30-13.30, 14.45-15.45. ATMs are widely available throughout the city. There are money changing shops inside the Central Station and the Airports as well as in Piazza Duomo, Piazza Scala, Via Orefini e Via Dante. Money can also be changed at the central post office, Piazza Cordusio 1 (MM1 Cordusio, see under Postage), and a few other post offices: Via Spinola 10 (MM1 Amendola), Via Moscova 30 (MM2 Moscova), Central Station post office, and at Linate airport. Passport may be required.
